Summer is made for exploration!

Forest County Extension, in partnership with the Samoset Council, is excited to announce a summer STEM Day Camp held in Laona at the Silver Lake Pavilion.  The STEM day camp offers activities for boys and girls going into grades 3-6.  Youth will work in teams, make new friends and perform experiments that make science, technology, engineering and math come alive.

The day camp will be held on Tuesday, June 18th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with check-in time beginning at 8:30 a.m.  The cost to attend is $50 per participant (lunch included) with scholarships available and awarded upon registration.  Local area youth, as well as summer visitors to the area, are encouraged to attend.

Registration is now open at www.samoset.org/stem.  For more information, please call Amanda Flannery at 715-355-1450 or Michelle Gobert at 715-478-7797.
