Get those costumes ready and your tennis shoes laced up because Forest County 4-H Community Club is hosting a 5K/1Mile Fun Run/Walk to benefit the Laona Learning Center.

The event is free for children 16 and under and $15 for all other walkers/runners.  Cash or check will be accepted for payment the day of the event.

The date of this event is Saturday, October 23rd.   Walk up registration begins at 9am and the run itself begins at 9:30 am. The event will begin at the Laona Elementary School and participants can choose to either run/walk a full 5K, do a 1 mile fun walk.  Participants are encouraged to come walk/run in costume and we do ask that costumes remain kid-friendly!

We will have prizes at the end of the race/walk for best costumes, as well as for the race winners in several different categories.
