Congratulations to all Forest County 4-H members on a job well done at the 2018 Forest County Fair. The 4-H building was filled with artwork, scrapbooks, posters, and produce which highlighted youth activities over the past year. In addition, we had 4-H youth participate in horse, beef cattle and rabbit showmanship projects this year.
Now its time to get together as a group and plan our next year’s adventures! We will meet on Sunday, September 16th at 5:00 p.m. for the 2018-2019 planning meeting. Attendance at this meeting is strongly encouraged for anyone interested in growing our 4-H program, including both adults willing to volunteer and youth interested in making a difference in their community. Our group will be brainstorming ideas, projects, community events and engaging our youth in state-wide 4-H initiatives.
If you are a 4-H alumni, then this meeting is for you!
If you want your child to experience some of the same experiences you had has a child in 4-H then this meeting is for you!
From community gardens to summer 4-H camp, we need you to be the change you want to see in Forest County!
Join us for an interactive, fun-filling planning meeting where we brainstorm ways to make this happen!
